Pam is the former food editor and executive editor of Cook’s Illustrated Magazine. She was USA Weekend’s weekly food columnist, AARP’s official food expert, a Runner’s World and Better Homes and Gardens contributing columnist. Over the years she has written for numerous national publications and has been on radio and television–both local and national.
In 2013 How To Cook Without a Book was on Buzzfeed’s list of 19 Cookbooks that will Improve Your Life, and in 2017 it made Southern Living’s 100 Best Cookbooks of All Time. In 2017 Pam made Epicurious’s list of The 100 Greatest Home Cooks of All Time.
